The time for basketball is almost upon us again. You know you’re desperate for some hoops action when even the thought of preseason games is a little exciting. But we’ve only got less than four weeks ’til the real games begin.
I’m excited for the season to start for many reasons, not the least of which is that it’ll give us more things to talk about here on the Fanball Sports Network. But I’m ready to see Steve Nash running around like a chicken with his head cutoff again, Amar’e Stoudemire jumping higher than any 6′10″ guy should, Robin Lopez doing his best to stay out of the way, and Leandro Barbosa looking like Usain Bolt on a basketball court. They don’t call him the Brazilian Blur for nothing.
I hope you’re as amped as I am. Get ready for some running, gunning, and more running. The 2009-2010 season is upon us, and it’s about time.
