Yeah Clark, you are right. It does look like multiple teams are hunting for Shaq, so hypothetically there should be options for the Suns.

I like the Chicago deal you proposed, and I don't. Deng is actually good at basketball, something that cannot be said for any of the other guys (save Kirilenko). I like him as a player, if he is healthy (which is a sizable if). BUT, his contract is large. Not necessarily prohibitive, but five years is a long time to have left on that deal.

I don't want Dallas' junk, rumors say it would include Dampier. Ugh. Two years and 23 million left for that big guy. That ain't happenin'.

I'd be open to Kirilenko, for sure. I'm not really sure what his identity as a player is anymore. Most of his stats have fallen off fairly dramatically the last few years. But, the Suns wouldn't need a lot from him offensively, and having an athletic wing who can defend would obviously be welcome on this team.

Things are the hottest in the Phoenix desert right now with trade rumors. I think Phoenix is in a good position. At worst, they get a mulligan on the Shaq trade and get to sort of start over. But they will also have the chance to do some negotiating, since it sounds like more than the Cavs are interested in the BIG ARISTOTLE. So my question for you, is which deal, as a Suns fan, do you prefer. (They have all been rumored).

Luol Deng and Tim Thomas (Chicago)

Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic (Cleveland)

I don't know who from Dallas, but probably something centered around Stackhouse's partially expiring contract. Probably cap relief. (Dallas)

And one more for fun, although hasn't been rumored- Andrei Kirilenko and small expiring contract (Utah)

So which one seems most attractive? I would love to see Deng end up in Phoenix and see Stoudemire return to the center position and see some more small ball.
